Why should we choose wink blink & nod?

We differentiate ourselves by maintaining an ongoing connection with our clients over the first year of service - our job isn't done once our initial consultation is over! You will have the tools to be successful going forward AND you will have us to help you if you need to bounce something off of a sleep pro! 


will you spend the night and implement the plan at our house?

We absolutely offer this option! Our goal is to guide you in teaching your child healthy, life-long sleep skills. Some families prefer in-person support on night one when implementing their sleep plan. We also offer real-time support options – which is the next best thing – and gives parents the option of virtual live help on night one. 


How early can we begin sleep training our baby?

It’s never too early to begin teaching your baby independent sleep skills and the best way to teach your baby these skills is by gently teaching them healthy habits from day one. Parents who do this, often don’t have to reteach their children how to sleep later on via sleep training. If you are looking to implement a formal sleep training plan, we recommend waiting until your baby is at least 10 weeks old. 


DO YOU USE THE "CRY-IT-OUT" METHOD?

We are trained in all sleep training methods. Each of our sleep plans are individually designed and, if requested, we can build a plan using the 'cry-it-out' method. We find, however, that this method is usually not required in order for you to meet your sleep goals. 


I've heard we can't go out-and-about after we sleep train, is this true? what about vacations?

In order for you to have long-term success, we ask that you plan to be at home, with limited distractions, for the 2-3 weeks following the implementation of your sleep plan. Consistency and routine are critical to your success and these are most easily maintained in your home. 

Throughout our process, we will teach you how to manage your child's sleep within the constraints of your lifestyle - inclusive of travel and lunch dates. We will teach you how to manage outings while protecting the groundwork of sleep you've invested in. All of our plans include routines that are easily modified on the go so that following the implementation period you can handle normal disruptions in your child's sleep schedule. 


DO YOU GUARANTEE YOUR SERVICES?

Our families experience sustained results using our process when they are consistent and committed to the change. Parents play a huge role in the success of our plans and because the implementation of our plans is something we cannot control, we cannot offer a guarantee. If you have any concerns, at any point, throughout the process please bring them forward so we can address them - there may be another solution we can explore.

Working on sleep isn't something you do once and never have to tackle again. Your children are bound to have set-backs.
